Memories of Maker… and what he’s up to now

Surfing around, there is clearly a lot of interest still in the great man. I guess you would say he was something of a cult figure. James Maker memoir ‘Autofellacio’

Great news! Ex-Raymonde and RPLA singer James Maker is apparently penning a memoir called ‘Autofellacio’ which amongst other things records his historic first meeting with Morrissey. There is an extract on Mark Simpson’s blog:

Autofellatio extract leaked / Morrissey-Solo statement

James Maker’s memoir ‘Autofellatio‘ has been leaked online, or at least an extract has. Published privately to authorised friends on the James Maker MySpace site, it seems that some rascal has only gone and posted in up on the Morrissey Solo web site. You can read James’ response statement here – where as expected, he dips in amongst the in-breds that contribute to that site, and emerges with dignity intact.

Viva Espana!

Apparently, James has moved to Valencia in Spain. No word on his recording plans at present.
